I usually dress semi-formal ish for b’way. I’ve seen people go crazy, but I usually wear jeans or dress pants with a nice shirt. I think the goal is to dress ‘nice’ as opposed to ‘why, yes, I did just roll out of bed!’ but it doesn’t really matter

I keep seeing Broadway "rules" posts
telling people how to “act” when they see Darren.
And while most of it is pretty accurate….
“Broadway has a dress code/dress formal/never wear jeans/etc.”
What? I’ve been and my best friend goes multiple times a year.
He wears jeans. And a tshirt or polo.
Broadway is an expensive show and you better act polite (no screaming)
but no one cares what you wear....
